'High Rise' Starring Tom Hiddleston & Luke Evans Gets A Teaser Trailer

By Matt O'Bryant

The first teaser trailer has arrived for Tom Hiddleston's latest effort High-Rise. The film based on the novel of the same name by J.G. Ballard premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier in the year. The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Elisabeth Moss, James Wheatley and is directed by Ben Wheatley who also did Kill List and Sightseers.  The teaser trailer is extremely strange and plays out more like an advertisement for company. When a class war erupts inside a luxurious apartment block, modern elevators become violent battlegrounds and cocktail parties degenerate into marauding attacks on “enemy” floors. In this visionary tale, human society slips into violent reverse as once-peaceful residents, driven by primal urges, re-create a world ruled by the laws of the jungle.
— Official Synopsis of Novel
