What's up guys and gals,
Director Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World has amassed an Epic $1.4 billion dollars at the box office and is still destroying records! Anyone who can pull in those kind of numbers at the box office is gonna have some big studios highly interested.
Now according to reports from the scoop masters @ HeroicHollywood:
Very interesting that Mr. Trevorrow had this to say in an interview just last month:
Our other sources have no confirmation yet on if this is true, but it makes a whole lot of sense considering the circumstances, and our good friend Umberto Gonzalez at HeroicHollywood is usually spot on with these monster scoops! Don't worry though because in just a few hours we will find out for sure if this is true or not.
Director Rian Johnson has already been confirmed to be directing and writing Star Wars: Episode 8 so Trevorrow coming on to direct Episode 9 would complete the trilogy very nicely.
Star Wars: Episode 9 is scheduled to hit theaters in 2019.
Lots more details to come on this story later today when the Star Wars panel begins in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con.
Leave us your thoughts on Colin Trevorrow to to direct Star Wars: Episode 9?
