Its seems to reason that the man behind the phenomenon known as 'Star Wars' would be very excited to see the new trailer for Star Wars Episode 7, but apparently it is not very high on his list of things to do.
George Lucas while attending Bloomberg Businessweek's 85th anniversary was asked what he thought of the new trailer, surprisingly Lucas said he had not yet found the time to watch the teaser. 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' teaser trailer is about to go down as the most watched video in youtube history and this guy the inventor/creator of one of the most beloved cinematic achievements ever hasn't seen it. Maybe he is starting to regret selling the Star Wars property to Disney. Perhaps he holds a little grudge over Disney making things their own way, and is probably still pissed that everyone holds his prequel trilogy which he wrote and directed as the low point in the Star Wars Saga. Then again maybe he is just a little afraid to be amazed at how great Star Wars can be when he actually lets other people have creative control. I personally think it is a little bit of all of those reasons. He does say later on in the interview that he will eventually see it, but he isn't in a hurry and would rather see in on the big screen in full.
