What's up guys and gals,
Welcome back to our Weekend Box Office Report here @ECMG!
Daniel Craig's latest outing as James Bond in Spectre unsurprisingly took the top spot at the box office for a second weekend in a row. The Peanuts Movie took second place again this weekend, dropping a very nice 44 percent in its second weekend bringing in another $24.2 million. The film has now made an impressive $82.5 million domestically.
Taking third place this weekend was the critically panned holiday comedy Love the Coopers opening to a solid $8.4 million.
Coming in fourth place is the unstoppable force that is Matt Damon's The Martian bringing in another $6.7 million in its seventh weekend of release. The sci-fi epic has now made an incredible $207.4 million at the domestic box office.
Rounding out the top five at the box office this weekend was the Chilean mining drama The 33 bringing in just $5.8 million in its opening weekend.
