This was discovered in a recent Rolling Stone article that featured the producer of the film Michael Bay discussing the film with visual effects supervisor Pablo Helman. While it's not known to what capacity the character will be featured in the film. It does appear that Helman Confirms that the character will indeed be in the film. Check out the little piece we snagged from the Rolling Stone article below.
They start with Ninja Turtles animation. Pablo Helman, a visual-effects supervisor who worked on the Star Wars prequels, appears onscreen and shows Bay the latest version of Krang, a new-to-the-movies villain who is, essentially, a disembodied brain inside a giant robot. "So we've eliminated the tentacles," Helman explains. "Is it too monster-ish?"
"He could have some tentacles," says Bay. "I just don't want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus."
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theaters on June 3rd, 2016.
