What's up guys and gals,
For anyone who has been a film fan for the past decade has seen the insanely talented Ben Foster show up in big or small films and steal the film from A-list actors almost every single time. The guy is just incredible, and its a shame he has yet to be nominated for an academy award! If you haven't seen 3:10 to Yuma, go check it out, the guy out shines Both Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Its actually amazing that this guy has yet to become an "A-list actor" and/or a household name. Well prepare for that to change!
With his new film The Program, Ben Foster transforms himself into legendary and disgraced hero Lance Armstrong who won the Tour de France seven times. Perhaps the Academy and audiences will begin to notice Ben Foster just a bit more in the future. We have an incredible new trailer for the film below, but first we have a piece from an interview Foster did with The Guardian in which he talks about the insane lengths he went to in preparing for the role.
Foster revealed that he literally participated in the same doping program that Armstrong himself went through:
