Chris Evans & Jared Leto May Join 'The Girl On The Train'

What's up guys and gals,  

It looks as though Captain America may be teaming up with The Joker in the DreamWorks adaptation The Girl on the Train.  

Chris Evans and Jared Leto will be teaming up with Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson who have already signed into the project.  Get the details below.

According to a report from  Variety:

Chris Evans and Jared Leto are in early talks to board DreamWorks’ adaptation of “The Girl on the Train.”

The duo joins Emily BluntRebecca Ferguson and Haley Bennett in the adaptation of the Paula Hawkins’ best-selling novel.

Sources indicate negotiations are still ongoing, and that schedules and finances still have to be figured out.

If the deals go through, Evans would play Ferguson’s husband and Leto would play Bennett’s husband.

Tate Taylor is directing from Cressida Wilson’s script. Marc Platt will produce the film, while Jared LeBoff of Marc Platt Prods. will serve as executive producing.

Synopsis:

 The story follows a woman (Blunt) devastated by her recent divorce who spends her commute fantasizing about a seemingly perfect couple who lives in a house that her train passes every day. Along the way, she becomes entangled in a mystery revolving around the married couple.
