Director David Ayer (Bright, Fury) took to his official Twitter account yesterday afternoon, sharing a cool unseen still from his much maligned Suicide Squad film. The still features Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's The Joker in a loving dance, wearing some of their most iconic garb. The images seems to be really teasing Ayer's rumored/continued involvement in the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, Harley Quinn and Joker spin-off film.

Will we be getting an announcement soon about the highly anticipated upcoming project? We sure hope so!

Check out the cool image from the film below:

While we saw this scene briefly in the film, Its still is a pretty striking image? An image that since I was a kid watching the animated Batman series on television I wanted to see on the big-screen with real actors. For all its flaws, we did finally get two of the most beloved comic book characters of all-time on the big-screen. Here's hoping that Suicide Squad 2 will greatly improve on the original's best intentions.

Do you guys and gals love the hell out of this still from the film? Why or why not? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. As always, thanks for stopping by EastCoastMovieGuys, your #1 source for movie news that matters!

Suicide Squad 2 does not currently have a release date.
