In a surprise move yesterday morning, Marvel Studios unleashed a brand new poster for their highly anticipated Black Panther film and revealed that the first teaser trailer would be dropping during game 4 of the NBA Finals. And drop the Black Panther teaser they did!
Fruitvale Station and Creed director Ryan Coogler's Black Panther features an all-star cast headed up by Chadwick Boseman as the titular character along with Coogler's best friend and frequent collaborator Michael B. Jordan as his enemy Erik Killmonger. Not to mention another turn as Ulysses S. Claw for the great Andy Serkis and probably another really strange performance from the always unpredictable Forest Whitaker.
Check out the teaser trailer below:
Aside from some CGI gripes I have with the teaser, this looks pretty rad and because of director Ryan Coogler's expertise behind the camera, I'm more excited for this film then even next year's Avengers: Infinity War.
