Could director Patty Jenkins' highly anticipated Wonder Woman movie have secretly added legendary action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger in an important role?
First off, a couple of days ago we got word through one of our Warner Bros. sources that Arnold and some high ups at Warner Bros. had gotten together for some meetings and phone calls had been exchange some point awhile back. However, besides that our source could not provide any other information than that. So we had no movie to attach this to or any other persons involved other than Arnold, so we didn't run with any new story. Fast forward to just earlier today, we may have found our answer.
According to two different reports from some trusted news outlets, Comicbook.com and Screenrant.com, it appears that those "meetings" that took place involved Arnold, heard of DC Films, Geoff Johns and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
The good folks over at Comicbook.com and Screenrant appeared to have connected some dots and believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger could have secretly been cast in this Summer's highly anticipated Wonder Woman film as "The main villain of the Wonder Woman movie is Ares, God of War. Perhaps Warner Bros. is going the CGI route for bringing the god to life and Schwarzenegger will provide the voice. Or maybe Schwarzenegger is playing a small role added in reshoots, such as Zeus, or has a post-credits scene role that will lead into a sequel."
Now this will be fantastic if it turns out to be true. As a child of the 90s, I grew up loving and seeing everything Arnold Schwarzenegger was in. He was the most badass action hero dude that existed back then. Whatever role legendary actor has is sure to add more credibility to Wonder Woman hopefully being a badass superhero movie.
