We all had a feeling that Greta Gerwig's new film Lady Bird was going to be something special, but its safe to say, there's no way we could have known just how truly special it would be. As of today, the film currently has an astonishing 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 82 critics.
Sadly, I haven't gotten a chance to see this spectacular looking film, but that will change very soon. Saoirse Ronan looks as though she's a lock for another Oscar nomination. As well as Greta Gerwig for screenplay and direction.
In case you haven't seen the brilliant trailer, check it out below and of course see Lady Bird as soon as you get the chance!

Lady Bird is currently in limited release and will be expanding across the country in the coming weeks.
In LADY BIRD, writer/director Greta Gerwig reveals herself to be a bold new cinematic voice with her directorial debut, excavating both the humor and pathos in the turbulent bond between a mother and her teenage daughter. Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson (Saoirse Ronan) fights against but is exactly like her wildly loving, deeply opinionated and strong-willed mom (Laurie Metcalf), a nurse working tirelessly to keep her family afloat after Lady Bird’s father (Tracy Letts) loses his job. Set in Sacramento, California in 2002, amidst a rapidly shifting American economic landscape, Lady Bird is an affecting look at the relationships that shape us, the beliefs that define us, and the unmatched beauty of a place called home.
