Oh yes! Oh yes!
Marvel Studios and director Taika Waititi's highly anticipated third installment in the Thor franchise, Thor: Ragnarok just got another huge Avenger confirmed to appear.
After seeing the hilarious post credit scene from this year's Doctor Strange film many of us assumed he would at the very least have a cool cameo in Ragnarok. In case you missed it (no spoilers), the scene involves both Doctor Strange and Thor sitting across from one another discussing some interesting business. Now it seems that Strange will have a much larger role than anyone could have guessed. It almost appears that Strange will be the third billed actor in the film which is extremely surprising, and only peaks my interest for the film even more so than it already was.
This revelation comes courtesy of Disney's fan club, D23, which just posted a preview of all the things that fans can look forward to from Disney in 2017.
Here’s an excerpt from D23 about the film:
“Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”
This will mark the first appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange in another Marvel film, following his own smash hit film back in November, Strange is also set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War.
This is just plain badass news, I was already excited for Thor: Ragnarok, now I'm over the moon freaking jacked to see this film next this Fall!
Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Karl Urban as Skurge. Additionally, Jurassic Park star Sam Neill will also be joining the cast.
Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters November 3, 2017.
