20th Century Fox and Marvel have released several new deleted scenes from X-Men: Apocalypse over the past few days, most of which you can kind of understand after seeing them why they were left out of the film. However the latest deleted scene that was released yesterday reveals an incredible scene of Jubilee, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Jean Grey cruising through the mall before they go see Return of the Jedi. Its a perfect throwback 80s scene and should have definitely made the final cut. It would have added a lot more depth and weight to these younger characters that we only briefly met in the film.
Check out the awesome scene below and sound off in the comments section with your thoughts. As always thanks for stopping by EastCoastMovieGuys!
"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."
X-Men: Apocalypse will be available on DVD and Blu-ray from October 4.
