Try Not To Laugh Watching The First Trailer For Sci-fi Toy Movie 'Max Steel'
When you see a film that gets a good bit of hype and publicity when it's announced, but after it starts production, it just kind of disappears from everyone radar. It's usually because something happens like whatever the hell happen to this terrible looking movie called Max Steel!
Originally set to hit theaters last year, the film tells the story of a high schooler obviously played too obviously by a 20 something year old who gets some type of "power or gift"(it really doesn't matter) and has to fight some type of aliens or bad guys because it really doesn't matter.
Check out the trailer below and sound off in the comments on this ridiculous looking film. As always thanks for stopping by EastCoastMovieGuys!
"Based on a toy and animated series, the film chronicles the adventures of 16-year old Max McGrath (Winchell) and alien companion Steel, who must harness and combine their tremendous new powers to evolve into the turbo-charged superhero Max Steel. As these two unlikely friends struggle to accept their oddly connected fates, they begin to uncover unimaginable secrets, working together to find the truth, and fighting the mysterious forces threatening their world. "
Directed by Stewart Hendler (Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn) and written by Christopher Yost (Thor: The Dark World), Max Steel also stars Josh Brener, Ana Villafane, Andy Garcia, Maria Bello and Mike Doyle.
Max Steel is set hit theaters later this year on October 21st.
