'The Final Wolverine' Has Officially Wrapped Production In New Mexico; #OneLastTime
The third and final installment in the Wolverine franchise is being hailed as the last time Hugh Jackman will play the legendary X-Men character of Logan aka Wolverine on the big-screen and we have just gotten word that at least part of the production has wrapped in New Mexico. That's right folks March 3rd, 2017 is going to be here sooner than you think and we honestly can't wait to see how it all ends!
The Final Wolverine, which does not yet have an official title is being directed by The Wolverine helmer James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma) and has been described as a "balls to the wall, R-Rated western". Which sounds really badass if you're fans of westerns like I am, however, I'm just hopeful its the Wolverine film all of us hardcore X-Men fans have always wanted to see on the big-screen.
Many people weren't that big on James Mangold's last Wolverine film which was set in Japan. That film was said to have a lot of studio interference (especially the second half) and so far everyone involved with this final chapter has promised that this new film will be completely filmmaker driven and they are going to tell the story they (the artist) want to tell. So hopefully Hugh Jackman's Swan Song will be the "masterpiecej" we all want it to be.
The Final Wolverine has been filming in New Mexico all summer and just yesterday it was revealed officially by Hugh Jackman via his own Twitter account that production has wrapped in New Mexico. Check out the tweet below:
