SDCC 16: More Details About 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Revealed
Marvel Studios has just unveiled the amazing teaser trailer for their highly anticipated sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! The first footage looks absolutely incredible and this film is now my most anticipated of 2017! Wow!
Here are a ton of cool details we learned earlier tonight during the Marvel Studios panel via Heroichollywood:
- Kurt Russell is playing Ego, Star-Lord’s father.
- Yes, Ego has a penis. This version of the character is some sort of humanoid.
- Elizabet Debicki is playing Ayesha a.k.a Kismet.
- The sequel picks up a few months after the events of the first movie.
- Yondu has a fin in the sequel.
- Nebula has a much bigger role in this movie.
- Mantis spent her life with Ego before meeting the Guardians.
- Sylvester Stallone is definitely in the movie. However, details about his character are being kept under wraps.
- Chris Sullivan is playing a character named Taserface.
- Benicio del Toro is returning to the role of the Collector for a theme park. You can find more details about that here.
- Drax is learning about metaphors.
