A New Extended Version Of The Last 'Suicide Squad' Trailer Released
By ECMG Staff
Warner Bros. and DC Films have released an extended version of their last Suicide Squad trailer via The Hollywood Reporter during The ESPYS awards show earlier tonight! While the trailer is mostly footage that we have all seen before there are extended shots and dialogue all over the thing, which gives us a better feel for this upcoming film. Overall I'm still very impressed with the marketing campaign for this film. Three weeks away from release and they still haven't revealed any major plot details on the film. Check out the new trailer below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts below.
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
Suicide Squad stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, with Raymond Olubawale as King Shark, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Adam Beach as Slipknot. Directed by David Ayer.
Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 5th.
