What's up manga fans and of course Scarlett Johansson fans!
Earlier today via Kotaku, a small little crop of set images from the upcoming live-action adaptation of the manga Ghost in the Shell featuring a couple cool looks at Scarlett Johansson as augmented-cybernetic human Motoko Kusanagi and our first look at actor Pilou Asbaek as Batou. Here's the official synopsis:
"Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology."
Rupert Sanders is at the helm of the anime adaptation, Ghost In The Shell is set for release on March 31, 2017.
