Ron Howard's 'Inferno' Adaptation Starring Tom Hanks Gets An Official Sneak Peek

By Matt O.

Director Ron Howard and actor Tom Hanks are back again with their third Dan Brown adaptation Inferno after the slight interesting Da Vinci Code and the sub par Angels & Demons. As a huge fan of these Dan Brown novels, I'm hoping that third times the charm! The same also goes for director Ron Howard who hasn't had a decent film in a few years now.

While the film does co-star Felicity Jones who is set to take over the Star Wars universe this December in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the most interesting supporting player here is the always incredible scene stealing Ben Foster in an undisclosed role. Hopefully he has a juicy role. The film also stars Irrfan Khan and Omar Sy.

Check out the first sneak peek below and than sound off in the comments below with your thoughts!

Here's the official synopsis:

"Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot."

Inferno is set to hit theaters on October 28th, 2016.
