20th Century Fox has revealed our first look at actress Katherine Waterston's character in Alien: Covenant via a cool production shot showing her inside of what is presumably the ship The Covenant. Notice the interior design of the ship is in tradition of all previous Alien films.
David (Michael Fassbender) seems to be the only returing character from Prometheus, even though he was last seen with Noomi Rapace's character blasting off into space at the end of Prometheus. It will be interesting to see if she makes a cameo or maybe since David is an Android this sequel/prequel could be set thousands of years after the events in Prometheus.
Katherine Waterston (Steve Jobs), Carmen Ejogo (Selma), Danny McBride (This Is the End), and Demián Bichir (The Hateful Eight) are among the actors playing the Covenant’s human crew in the film.
Check out the cool images and if you have any cool thoughts on the film or want to ask us any questions, let us know in the comments section below, thanks.
“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
Alien: Covenant is set to hit theaters on August 4th, 2017.
