Universal Pictures and DreamWorks have released the first The Girl on the Train trailer featuring Emily Blunt in the lead as the said, "girl on the train" or so we think? The film is helmed by The Help director Tate Taylor and is adapted from the best selling Paula Hawkins novel of the same name. The film follows Rachel (Emily Blunt, a lonely divorcee who during her daily commute to and from work always notices this "perfect" looking couple during one of the train's stop. Well one day see witnesses something she can't explain, something that is terrible gets caught up in an epic murder mystery thriller scenario. The film looks to draw much of its style from David Fincher's incredible film Gone Girl.
Emily Blunt headlines an all-star cast that includes Luke Evans, Hayley Bennett, Rebecca Fergusan, Justin Theroux, Edgar Ramirez, Allison Janney, and Lisa Kudrow. Check out the trailer below and then lets us know what you think, by sounding off in the comments section below with your thoughts.

"In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds."
The Girl on the Train is set to hit theaters on October 7th.
