Well here we go people! With Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios currently getting all the attention with their marketing campaigns for Batman V. Superman & Captain America: Civil War. 20th Century Fox has decided to finally join in on the game. The first promotional ad for Bryan Singer's eagerly awaited X-Men: Apocalypse is here, and features none other than the super popular X-Men Quick Silver played by Evan Peters in a new international KIA Motors commercial.
The commercial features the Quicksilver racing against the new KX5 SUV. While its not the best made commercial and doesn't feature any real new footage, it does get big time X-Men fans like me super excited. Plus, the recent rumors flying around that a new trailer is on the way. Possibly in the next week or so? Attached to Batman v. Superman in theaters? Fingers crossed? Anyways while we wait, check out the commercial below, and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27th.
