The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has recently released a bulletin that highlights films they've recently rated, which they do periodically. One of those films just happens to be Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder's highly anticipated Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In the bulletin, it reads Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is Rated R for "sequences of violence". The bulletin also shows that the distributor is Warner Home Entertainment, which means we will be getting an extended R-rated director's cut from Zack Snyder.
There is also a note that reads:
“EDITED VERSION. CONTENT IS DIFFERENT FROM PG-13 VERSION, BULLETIN NO. 2393 (9/30/15).”
Now that's some pretty fantastic news! I always figured that the guy who brought us the fantastic R-rated The Watchmen was gonna deliver a pretty hardcore Batman v. Superman. Very excited to here this news as I know all you other hardcore Batman fans are too. Can't wait for this amazing film! Sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th.
