'Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 2' Begins Filming, Cast & Teaser Image Revealed

Guardians of the Galaxy fans get ready! Marvel Studios and Disney officially announced earlier this morning that Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 has officially begun production at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta Georgia via an official press release and teaser image.
In the official press release, it is revealed officially that James Gunn is of course writing and directing again this time. The film will see the return of original cast members Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. While not revealed in the press release, director James Gunn has confirmed that Glenn Close will reprise her role as Nova Prime in the film.
Joining the original cast will be Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell. While it wasn't officially announced in the press release, director James Gunn took to his tweeter account to announce that Pom Klementieff will be being playing the character known as Mantis in the new film. The director also teases the reveal of other new characters in the future.
It has also been rumored for a very long time, that legendary actor Kurt Russell is cast as possibly the lead villain role and/or Star-lord's father. Which will probably not be revealed until the release of the film.
