'Transformers' Sequels Get Official Release Dates, Plus An Angry Rant
In light of the continuing backlash from fans, pure hatred by critics, and declining domestic box office receipts. Paramount Pictures are surging full steam ahead with their Transformers franchise. With the only real possible reasoning behind continuing forward without a proper re-imagining and/or regime change, is that internationally somehow, box office receipts are going up. Also there is the fact that Paramount Pictures is in need of another big franchise, and Transformers is the studio's only big blockbuster franchise besides Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible franchise. Most likely the Studio heads, have just decided to officially say screw it and just start cranking these things out on a damn assembly line. Which is a shame for all fans of the Transformers and Film in general.
So here we go, here are the official release dates for not just Transformers 5, but 6, and 7.
Transformers 5 hits theaters on June 23rd, 2017.
Transformers 6 hits theaters on June 8th, 2018.
Transformers 7 hits theaters on June 28th, 2019.
So like it or not, we are gonna get a crap ton of indistinguishable CGI metal fighting robots thrown our way, with little or no creative thinking behind them for the next five years. Just a huge freaking money grab, from Paramount Pictures! Hope it all goes south and blows up in their money hungry faces!
