Kelsey Grammer Wants To Play Beast Again In An 'X-Men' Film
Over this past weekend at this year's New York Comic-Con, Kelsey Grammer sat down for an interview with Comicbook.com and revealed surprisingly that he would like to return as Hank McCoy aka Beast in an X-Men film in the future.
“Beast was a riot, I think he was underused…I believe that they should have done another Beast movie, you know with my Beast.”
When asked if Grammer would return to the character, his answer was simple.
“Of course I would.”
Actor Nicholas Hoult plays the younger version of Beast in the X-men films and can be seen most recently reprising his role as Beast in X-Men: Apocalypse, which is out now digitally and on Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD.
"Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, opening in theaters everywhere May 27, 2016. Since the dawn oof civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."
