Hello everyone and welcome back,
Sylvester Stallone is back as the the legendary Rocky Balboa in the upcoming film Creed which is a Spinoff/Sequel to the sixth Rocky film. This film will mark the 7th time Stallone has played the character of Rocky.
This time around though the story will have Stallone in more of a supporting character role where he will be training up and coming boxer Adonis Johnson. Adonis Johnson's character is the son of Rocky's late great enemy turned best friend Apollo Creed. The character of Adonis Johnson is being played by rising star Michael B. Jordan who can next be seen on the big screen in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot as the human torch.

As a life long fan of the Rocky films, I'm very excited about the prospect of this film being a worthy continuation of the Rocky Balboa story-line and I think this will perfect transitioning for Rocky to become more like his trainer Micky was in the first three films.
The film is being directed by 2nd time director Ryan Coogler who's first film Fruitvale Station garnered massive critical praise and also stared Michael B. Jordan in the lead role. Many people feel as thought Jordan should have been nominated for an academy award for his role.
Its still too soon to tell what kind of tone this film will be going for, the more serious academy award winning tones of the first couple Rocky films, or the more 80's throwback style of the the 3rd, and 4th films of the franchise! I'm hoping it's the former more Oscar worthy style of the first two films.
Creed hits theaters on November 25th, 2015
