I love these nominations, think they are really well deserved in most cases, I will say that i'm a little bothered by the lack of diversity in the nominations!  There are also some strange nominations that stand out to me first being Meryl Streep for 'Into the Woods' I really do not agree with, I know she is a great actress but i'm kind of starting to get burned out on Meryl Streep getting nominated every single year.  Really surprised not to see Tom Hardy nominated for best actor for his film 'Locke' because it is probably the best performances of his career and the fact the he is the only actor in the film for an hour and forty minutes.  I think Rosamund Pike for 'Gone Girl' is a lock for Best Actress this year, and Michael Keaton for 'Birdman' is also a lock for Best Actor, but would love to see Jake Gyllenhaal get the win his performance was my favorite of the year by far.  Overall I'm pleased with the nominations and can't wait to see who will win.
