Hayden Christensen Returning As Darth Vader In 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'

By Matt O'Bryant

What's up guys and gals,

In all of Disney's Marketing so far for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and this entire new era of Star Wars In general, the studio has seemed to be distancing themselves from the much maligned prequel trilogy.  So this new rumor comes as a a pretty big surprise.

It appears as though there is a chance that actor Hayden Christensen will be appearing in Star Wars: Episode VIII.  The rumor comes to us from the good folks over at MakingStarWars.net who were told by one of their trusted sources that the actor will be beginning preparation for his role as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader very soon.

According to MakingStarWars.net:

A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort.

So many of you would ask, why and would Hayden Christensen even be used in the eighth installment in the Star Wars saga being that Darth Vader is dead.  Well there is a possibility of these new film makers taking it upon themselves to go back via flashbacks and try and fix or improve Anakin Skywalkers turn to the Dark side.  Which most fans know was a bit rushed and done kind of sloppy in the prequel trilogy.

While the folks over at MakingStarWars.net have been on point with tons and tons of rumors and spoilers.  Always take this kind of thing with a huge grain of salt.

Leave us your thoughts on Hayden Christensen returning to the franchise below in the comments.
