'The Walking Dead's' Lauren Cohan Will Appear In 'Batman V. Superman'

By Matt O'Bryant

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) will be play a small, but important role in BVS. With just a couple of months to go until the release of Batman V. Superman, it comes as a bit of a surprise that we are just now hearing of this new casting.

Warning this is a slight spoiler for the film so you have been warned.

The report from Entertainment Weekly states that Lauren Cohen will be playing Bruce Wayne's Mom in the the upcoming film. That's right she will be playing Mrs. Wayne along side Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Mr. Wayne. We've already seen a little bit of this scene in the first two trailers, which will most likely be a flash back at some point in the film. The scene itself will probably be just hybrid or a retread of the classic "Wayne Parents Murdered" scene we all know. It will be interesting to see Zack Snyder's take on Bruce's parents and I can't wait to see Ms. Cohan take on this classic role.

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016, and The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 14th, 2016.
