First Look: Jonah Hill & Miles Teller In 'Untitled Todd Phillips' Film

By Matt O'Bryant

The first official images from The Hangover and Road Trip director Todd Phillips' new film originally titled Arms and The Dudes have arrived via Entertainment Weekly. The film stars Jonah Hill and Miles Teller as two 20 year old arms dealers, and the film is based on the Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson which was turned into a book titled "The Stoner Arms Dealers: How Two American Kids Became Big-Time Weapons Traders." The film was originally titled Arms and The Dudes when it was announced last year, but is now just referred to as the Untitled Todd Philips Project.

Based on a true story, “Arms & the Dudes” follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a $300 million deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.
