While the actor couldn't say much because his contractual obligations. However he did let a little bit slip out about Star Wars: Episode VIII when talking about The Killing Joke revealing that there is an "elaborate special effects sequence" he had to really, really focus on.

“I came home and I realized, ‘oh my gosh, they have an interview for me tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t watched [The Killing Joke], and the day after I start on a sequence, an elaborate special effects sequence where I’m not going to be able to do anything. I have to focus specifically on the Episode VIII scene I’m doing.”

Hamill also revealed that they had been doing night shoots, which may coincide with the “elaborate special effects sequence” he’s discussing.

While at first glance this may not sound like much, but just think about what we know. We know that he is in the scene so, that obviously means Luke Skywalker will play an important role in said scene. He talks about elaborate special effects, he says that he has to focus really intensely on the scene, and that he will be on location at night-time.

Most likely this scene will be one of many where we get to see Luke Skywalker finally go "Full Jedi Master" on whoever he's battling. Perhaps a flashback seen to him fight the Knights of Ren, who a rumored to play a major role in this film? Could there be force lighting involved? The throwing and moving of huge objects like we have seen other Jedi Masters do before in the past? I'd put my money on all of those things happening at some point during this film.

Even though its a bit of wishful thinking. One thing is for sure, we will all finally get to see Luke Skywalker kicking some major ass, the way we have always dreamed of him kicking ass since we were little kids.

So are you guys and gals excited to finally see Luke in full Jedi mode? Do you think he will show off all different types of badass skills in the film? Let us know in the comments section down below. As always thanks for stopping by EastCoastMovieGuys!
