Michael Fassbender Talks 'Alien: Covenant'; Says Film Is Going To Be "Super Scary"

With production on Alien: Covenant having officially wrapped last month and just under a year to go until the highly anticipated release of the film. We are bound to start getting tons of cool information on the film from all of the actors and crew involved. First up is one of the main stars of the upcoming film Michael Fassbender, who is currently on his promotional tour for director Derek Cianfrance's (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond The Pines) The Light Between Oceans.

While speaking with Collider about Alien: Covenant, Fassbender revealed that in the upcoming sequel/prequel, the crew of the Covenant discoveries Fassbender's David living on a "dark and dangerous" new world and he also described his excitement over the upcoming film from director Ridley Scott:

"I have to say, this Alien is going to be – I’m really excited to see it and everybody in the film was saying that there’s a film that we all wanna see. It’s much scarier than Prometheus, but it’s got that sort of same scope as Prometheus, that imminent sort of disaster feel, that Alien had. So it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary, number one. And again, with the massive scope of Prometheus."

The film also stars Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, and Noomi Rapace among many others. So what do you guys think about Fassbender's comments?
