With the release of Star Trek Beyond right around the corner, star Karl Urban who plays Bones in the Star Trek films, has been doing a lot of press recently and with that comes opportunities to ask the actor about his upcoming projects. One of Urban's projects on the horizon is a little film called Thor: Ragnarok, where he will playing the Skurge the Executioner, and here are some interesting things the actor had to say about the role.
“Well, it’s difficult for me to really comment about it because I haven’t started production yet, but I’m looking forward to getting on set, For me, I read the script and it was a fun script and quite different than the previous Thor movies, and I was drawn to the appeal of working with Taika Waititi, the director. So, the coolest thing about Skurge? I think is probably his journey through the film. There’s change and there’s – he finishes the film in a different place than he starts and, as an actor, that’s always something you look for.”
Sounds pretty sweet right! While I wasn't the biggest fan of the first two Thor films, I've got really high hopes for this third installment thought especially with the addition of Karl Urban and other legendary actors like Jeff Goldblum. What about you? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts on the upcoming sequel.
Thor: Ragnarok is the third installment of Marvel’s popular Norse Super Hero, is directed by Taika Waititi and will feature Chris Hemsworth in the title role for the fifth time. Thor: Ragnarok also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, and Mark Ruffalo reprising his role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk.
Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit theaters on November 3rd, 2017.
