RUMOR: James Franco May Star In Shane Black's 'The Predator'

Out of all the amazing news flooding the interwebs today, this could perhaps be the most interesting of any of it! According to Jeff Sneider over at Meet the Movie Press, Writer/Director Shane Black is circling the insanely talent actor James Franco for the lead human role in the upcoming sequel/reboot The Predator that is also rumored to bring back Arnold Schwarzenegger's character from the original film.

"According to Jeff Sneider during an episode of Meet the Movie Press, the trickster may be facing his toughest challenge: The Predator.

Sneider reports (at 27:51 of the video) that Franco’s agency, Creative Artists Agency, is campaigning for their client to take the lead in director Shane Black‘s The Predator. He adds Franco may not be Black’s first choice to lead the film, which will see the return of the 20th Century Fox monster as it faces off against someone who may or may not be named Quinn Mackenna."
