Geoff Johns Debunks Rumors & Officially Reveals 'Justice League' Movie Title

By Matt O.

Yesterday afternoon a rumor dropped online suggesting that Warner Bros. and DC Films had narrowed the title of the upcoming Zack Snyder directed Justice League movie down to four different titles and those titles were:

  • Justice League: United
  • Justice League: Angels and Demons
  • Justice League: Gods Among Us
  • Justice League: Gods Among Men

After the rumor got picked up by most news sites around the world (although we here at EastCoastMovieGuys, did not run with the story, our trusted sources coudn't confirm it), causing mass hysteria among DC fans and movie goers alike.

Everyone can calm down now, because recently appointed Co-head of DC Films Geoff Johns took to Twitter early this morning to debunk the falsely reported rumored titles and tell fans exactly what the title of the film will be. Check it out below, its so simple.

There you have it folks, already it looks like Geoff Johns is making the right moves with this upcoming film. Instead having a ridiculously long title for Justice League, like say this year's Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. They have made the simple decision to simply go with Justice League! Make sense right, they should have done the same with BVS and simply titled it Batman V. Superman.

So what do you DC Fanboys and Fangirls think? Great title right? Logical title right? Let us know in the comments section down below, thanks!

Justice League is set to hit theaters on November 17th, 2017
