'The Flash' Movie Finds A New Director In Rick Famuyiwa

It Looks like The Flash Movie has found a new director!

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. and DC Films has found their new director in Rick Famuyiwa, an up-and-coming director who helmed the instant cult classic Dope from last year. Famuiywa will take over for Seth Grahame-Smith who was going to make his directorial debut with The Flash, but thankfully the studio decided to go with someone a bit more qualified.

However the The Flash script is still going to be written by Grahame-Smith, who's credits include the terrible Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Which really concerns me, but hopefully the studio and new director Rick Famuyiwa can make this solo film work.

Ezra Miller is still set to star as the titular hero and has already made his debut as the character earlier in the year with a cameo in the poorly received Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on March 16th, 2018.
