'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Wraps Filming; Gunn Confirms SDCC Presence

By Matt O.

Its official folks! Marvel Studios has done it again! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has officially wrapped filming! Also director James Gunn confirms a big San Diego Comic Con 2016 presence in July saying:

“We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic Con this year. We’re going to be there. I’m gonna be there. Chris Pratt’s gonna be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we’re gonna show you guys something pretty cool.”

In the video Pratt gives a somewhat emotional short speech saying:

“This is going to be the greatest spectacle film of all-time. And each of us have our name on it. And each of us have a piece of it. And for our entire lives, people are going to be really impressed that we did this movie.”

Even though filming has wrapped, the teams behind Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 still has a lot of work to do in post production between now and next summer, but expect to see your first footage in Hall H during the Marvel panel at this year's Comic Con. Hopefully we get a badass teaser trailer soon!
