During a recent interview with The Independent actor Mads Mikkelsen talked a little bit about the highly controversial topic of the upcoming Rogue One film having to do re-shoots. He even revealed how many days of shooting he has.
“I have one day. I can’t remember when, in two weeks I think.”
The actor than went on to tell fans not to worry about these re-shoots, that they are just a normal thing for any big budget blockbusters on this scales:
“Basically, all the big films I have done always have reshoots, it is part of their budget. They’re either not super happy with a scene bit, the way we were acting, or maybe there’s something they want to add. It’s not a new thing, it happens with every film. Whether it’s bigger or less, I have no idea, I have nothing to compare with. It’s the same film, it’s just adding little bits here and there to do the final polishing. That’s my feeling.”
So it sounds, much like we suspected, that everything is going to be alright! This is one of the reasons that we didn't cover the ridiculous and blown out of proportion Rogue One reshoots controversy here at EastCoastMovieGuys.
Re-shoots are super common on big budget movies and literally happens all the time! I still have all the hope in the world for this film and know that its going to be unlike any other Star Wars film ever released! Can't wait!
