Tom Hiddleston Confirmed To Be In Talks To Play The Next James Bond

By Matt O.

Coming to us from one of the coolest cats in the business! Mr. Phil Noble Jr. of Birth.Movies.Death is reporting that sources close to Thor and Avengers actor Tom Hiddleston has revealed that the actor is in "Advanced" negotiations to take over the role of James Bond from Daniel Craig.

Their sources confirm that talks and negotiations have taken place, and Hiddleston really, really wants this role, but no official offer has been made (at least not that has been released to the public or outside sources) yet.

While I've never been a mega fan of James Bond films, I liked one of the Timothy Dalton ones, a couple of the Brosnan ones, and I loved the first three Daniel Craig Bond films, hated the last film (Spectre). Skyfall is my favorite and in my opinion I like the more serious versions of Bond and it appears to me at first glance having Hiddleston step into the role is almost a dream come true for the style the producers have been going for lately and fans would probably not skip a beat with Hiddleston taking over! Can't wait to see what happens here!

In case you're not sold on Tom Hiddleston as Bond, check out the trailer below for High-Rise and/or the BBC mini-series The Night Manager.

So what do you about you fans? Are you a fan of Hiddleston? Is he right for Bond? Who would you choose for the next Bond? Lets us know and sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts, thanks!

No release date is set for James Bond 25.
