Rumor: New Details On Batman's Role In 'Suicide Squad'

By Matt O.

What's up Batman fans? We got some cool new details on Ben Affleck's Batman scenes in the upcoming Suicide Squad film.

The fact that Batman is in the film should come as no surprise to anyone at this point, unless you been living under a rock for the past year or so. What we haven't know until now is how big of a role he would have in the upcoming film. Would it be a major role, small role, or just a simple cameo?

Here are some of the details on a couple of Batman’s scenes in Suicide Squad courtesy of our good friends over at Batman-News.

Ben Affleck's Batman will share what's described as a very "Emotional Scene" during the film in a flashback with Will Smith's Deadshot.

The site also goes on to describe more of the Harley Quinn/The Joker and Batman chase scene that we have all scene tidbits of in the trailers.

"Next is the car scene that we saw in the trailers with Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn. Unfortunately there isn’t much interaction between Batman and the Joker here. It’s mostly between Batman and Harley. A report came out last summer that said the Joker’s car plunges into the water, and as we saw in the latest trailer, it does and Batman gets Harley out safely."

Sounds pretty sweet right? I personally can't wait to see Batman in the new Suicide Squad. I wonder if he will steal the show? What about you? Sound off in the comments section down below with your thoughts.

Here's the official synopsis:

"It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?"

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 5th.
