Marvel Wants To Film 'Black Panther' In Africa

By Matt O.

With so much news about the upcoming Black Panther film hitting the web this week regarding casting, it was only a matter of time before we got some interesting production info.

Now according to one of the producers on the film Nate Moore, Marvel is seriously considering filming parts of the film on Location in Africa to give it a more authentic feel.

"We’ll do our stage work in Atlanta. And we’re definitely investigating shooting in Africa … both Marvel and Ryan feel that would be really good for the movie. We just haven’t drilled down on it yet. "

Also of note director Ryan Coogler has also recently said that Black Panther will be his most personal film to date.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really liking what I'm hearing when it comes to this film. I fully believe Ryan Coogler is going to alert one helluva film considering his previous works with Fruitvale station and the incredible Creed. I can't wait for this one to hit theaters!

What about you? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts on this film, thanks!

Black Panther will hit theaters on February 16, 2018.
