New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Featurette Reveals The Four Horsemen

By Matt O'Bryant

20th Century Fox has released just released a brand new featurette for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. The featurette reveals some new footage from the film and introduces everyone to The Four Horsemen. The Horsemen consist of Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Angel (Ben Hardy), and Psylock (Olivia Munn).

As you all have heard me say before, I'm a mega fan of all the X-Men films. Which I rank above any of the Marvel Studios films and Warner Bros. DC Films. While the overall story telling haven't been that consistent. The performances and the character driven story-lines are what make these films. So I can't wait for this film to hit theaters this May. Enjoy the featurette below, and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27th.
