'Daredevil' Actor Charlie Cox Reveals When 'The Defenders' Starts Shooting

By Matt O'Bryant

At a recent Netflix event in Paris where Daredevil actor Charlie Cox seemingly confirmed that The Defenders mini-series event for Netflix will begin production late this year or early next year. Here's what the actor had to say below:

"What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome.

I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show. I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one."

Sounds great right? So far Marvel and Netflix's partnership has been nothing but a huge success both critically and financially with three amazing seasons. Two for Daredevil and one for Jessica Jones. Next up is the Luke Cage series hitting Netflix later this year and then we get the Iron Fist series early 2017.

The Defenders mini-series event should hit sometime in the second half of 2017.
