'The Trust' Trailer Nicolas Cage Is Back To Being Classic Nicolas Cage

By Matt O'Bryant

The new film The Trust has finally gotten an official trailer, and the film looks awesome! Starring Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood as a duo of down on their luck guys, who team up to pull off some type of ridiculous heist and along the way the two find themselves in some hilarious, fun, and desperate situations.

As a huge life long fan of Nicolas Cage, this looks to be that one film this year out of the 5 or 6 he will release, that will actually be the great Nicolas Cage that we used to all know and get pumped for, just that classic Nicolas Cage! The other half a dozen of his films coming out this year will probably be your normal straight to DVD crap, but I always have hopes for more gems. The Trust is set to premiere at this year's SXSW festival, and hopefully the film will generate some solid reviews. Check out the trailer below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

Here's a second, different trailer for your viewing pleasure, this one actually shows more of the comedy aspect of the film.

Here's the official synopsis:

A dramatic comedy about Waters and Stone, two nobody police officers who work in the evidence room of the Las Vegas Police Department. When Stone discovers an unusually high bail receipt in connection to a drug bust, the two friends set in motion a plan to find the source of the money.

The Trust hits VOD on April, 14th, and select theaters on May 13th.
