RUMOR: Netflix's 'Iron Fist' TV Series Will Introduce 'Shang-Chi To The MCU

With the recent announcement of the lead role in the upcoming Iron Fist show going to Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones, it looks like the series could be introducing another classic Marvel character that has never been brought to the "big-screen or small-screen before. According to The Hastag Show, when Marvel and Netflix premiere Iron Fist in looks to be 2017. They will also be introducing the beloved character Shang-Chi aka the Master of Kung Fu.

While there aren't many details known at this point, it appears that Netflix and Marvel have been "exclusively auditioning males of Asian descent" for the role. So, hopefully this will help smooth over, the backlash from the casting of a white male actor as Iron Fist. Even though the character of Iron Fist is a white male. Many fans industry people thought the casting of an Asian actor for the lead role was a missed opportunity, but perhaps the producers already had this plan in place to have this character be a major player going forward in the MCU.
