'Suicide Squad' Currently Undergoing Big Reshoots

By Matt O'Bryant & Aric Sweeny

Well it looks like Warner Brother's upcoming Suicide Squad film is about to get a whole lot funnier! This is according to Devin Faraci of Birth.Movies.Death., who revealed earlier today that a source of his told him something very "surprising".

"the trailer for Suicide Squad, the one with the Queen song, did not represent the film as it then existed. "Every joke in the movie is in that trailer,"

Faraci than went on to reveal that he did some more digging, and found out that there are "reshoots happening right now, big reshoots, big as in tens of millions of dollars big, that they're adding more humor and lightness into the film."

In light of the recent criticisms of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice being ‘too dark and not funny enough’, Warner Bros. was bound to make some changes to their upcoming films. Not to mention the overwhelming success of 20th Century Fox's light hearted R-rated Deadpool.

Also, along with BMD's report, the scoop master himself, El Mayimbe, also took to Twitter to confirm the reports.

What are your thoughts on these reshoots? Should Suicide Squad be filled with humor, or have a dark tone? Comment down below and let us know.

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 5th.
