'Kingsman' Sequel Gets Official Title, Matthew Vaughn Talks Plot, Plus Cool Concept Art

By Matt O'Bryant

Earlier today courtesy of Empire Magazine via CBM the official title was finally revealed for the highly anticipated sequel to the surprise 2014 hit Kingsman: The Secret Service.

The official title for the sequel has been revealed to be Kingsman: The Golden Circle and along with the new title, we get our first look at some cool new concept art for film, which you can check out below. Director Matthew Vaughn was also asked about the upcoming sequel and had this to say.

I didn’t know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain. Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot.

The director also had this to say about whether or not he would try to recreate the amazingly insane church sequence from the original.

You try not to read what people want, but they do want another church sequence. I have no reason for another massacre to happen. But I have other sequences you’ve never seen before.

Sounds pretty awesome right? Don't forget to check out the cool concept art below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is set to hit theaters on June 16th, 2017.
