New 'Batman V. Superman' Featurette "Story", Plus Affleck & Cavill Talk Iconic Roles

By Matt O'Bryant

With just a little over a week to go till Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice the marketing team is been super busy releasing all kinds of different tidbits about the film. The latest featurette titled "Story" shows off some cool visuals, but mainly focuses on how the filmmakers went about telling such a complicated story between two heroes with common goals who wind up on opposite ends.

After that we have two different interviews for everyone to check out courtesy of the good folks over at TODAY Online. Both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill sat down with Genevieve Loh and talked about what it was like taking on these iconic characters, plus more. Enjoy all three of the videos below and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.

There is something about this character that I have come to love and be very protective over. While I would never aspire to actually be Superman, because he is extra and I’m not just talking about his powers its the personality and the character of the man himself which is extraordinary. I have become quite protective over the character.
It was out of the ordinary, while he was a hero, he had a lot of flaws…The fact you don’t know who to side with, they both think they are right, I thought that was an interesting structure, they both characters think they are right. So the audience really gets the chance to wonder.
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next week on March 25th.
