Thanks to a report from Stitch Kingdom, Star Wars fans the world over may have received their first look at the cover art for the upcoming Bluray release as well as a list of all of the extra features we may expect to see attached to the film. Check it out!
A now removed listing for Star Wars: The Force Awakens Bluray may have offered us our first look at (one of many) potential cover art for the films home release. Featuring a fresh close-up of everyones new favorite droid BB-8 (sorry R2), the pre-order listing from Walmart also came with a release date of December 31st, 2016. Listings have leaked like this before and the accompanying dates are usually just placeholders until an official announcement. That being said, this could be one of those rare coincidences that the date ends up being correct.
Take a gander at the box-art as well as the bonus features:
- Potential Box Art for the Blu-Ray Release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey
- The Story Awakens: The Table Read
- Building BB-8
- Crafting Creatures
- Blueprint of a Battle: The Snow Fight
- The Visual Magic Of The Force
- John Williams: The Seventh Symphony
- Deleted Scenes
- Force For Change
The listed extras carry an intriguing mix of behind the scenes production videos as well as some that should shed light on the some of the craze surrounding the property. Force for Change has long been a big name in the charity world, to learn more of what Abrams and the minds behind The Force Awakens did for the charity will be an exciting watch.
What do you think of the potential bonus features? Are you a fan of the proposed cover art? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to check back here at EastCoastMovieGuys for all the latest!
